Marina Skradin is located near Krka National Park, along the Krka River, and next to the city of Skradin. Due to its location, beautiful nature, and exceptional local cuisine, the marina achieves the most significant income from short-term visitors. The marina can accommodate large yachts and been chosen as one of the most desirable large yacht destinations. But 20 years after the founding of the Marina, ACI Club decided to invest in the expansion and renovation of the old marina, with the basic idea to improve service especially for visitors with large vessels.

It was immediately noted that the distance between piers A and B in Skradin bay was too small to accept vessels more than 10 m in length. The shore along Pier B was cleared and leveled, we built 15 m wide concrete anchoring structures and placed vertical rails on them – guides for pontoons. Instead of being anchored with chains a few meters from the shoreline, Pier B is installed next to the anchoring structures, saving 5–8 meters of space and allowing to accommodate vessels up to 16 meters in length. This construction is unique in Croatia, but the idea came from Danish colleagues at Marinetek who used this pontoon anchoring system in central Copenhagen.

Pier C was replaced by 3 meter wide Marinetek Heavy Duty Pontoons, and piers D and E were adapted for the needs of large ships. They are built with heavy Breakwater Pontoons with fixing columns with a capacity of 100 kN, and service cabinets with 250 Amp connections. On the outside side of the pier E an anchoring system for the safe mooring of mega yachts up to 50 m in length has been formed. Anchoring systems were made with Seaflex elements.
