With the installation of the north breakwater and docks E, F, and G, the fifth and final phase of the construction of the city port of Vrnaža in Šibenik was completed.

The first phase of work began in 2016 with the development of the southwest part of the bay, the construction of about 300 meters quay wall, and the installation of a floating breakwater and five floating piers. The project was divided to five phases, and through 5 years of development, the municipal port was built to its current form.

For this purpose, Marinetek delivered 9 Breakwater Pontoon elements with a total length of 164 meters, and 44 All-Concrete Pontoon elements with access bridges, mooring devices, and infrastructure, which formed 12 piers with a total length of 735 meters. A quay wall with a total length of 955 meters, a slip and a crane for boats, and a space for a dry berth of about 6,000 m2 have been constructed.

With the final installment of the port of Vrnaža, the town of Šibenik and its inhabitants received a state-of-the-art port for over 700 vessels exclusively for the personal needs of the citizens, sports, and leisure. The port itself is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and safest ports in this part of the Mediterranean and has already become a meeting place for citizens, and a promenade for families with children during the day. Strict measures for environment protective measures have been introduced for the service and maintenance of vessels.
